Privacy policy

Protecting your personal data matters to us. This policy explains the nature, scope and purpose of the processing of personal data on this website under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Access data and server log files

When you open this website, the hosting provider automatically records information your browser transmits: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the request and IP address. This data serves technical operation and security; the legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Hosting is provided by lightsignalmedia.group, Krückelstr. 20, 51105 Köln, with a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR in place.

3. Contact form

If you send us the contact form, the details you enter (name, e-mail address, optionally your company and your message) are processed on the server and delivered by e-mail to info@okami-vision.com. No further disclosure to third parties takes place. The details are stored in order to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (a), (b) and (f) GDPR.

4. Cookies and local storage

Without your consent this site sets no analytics or advertising cookies. Your browser’s local storage only keeps technically necessary entries: whether you chose the light or dark appearance, which area (Flow or Frame) you picked on the start page, and your choice from the privacy notice (key lsmg-consent-v2). That information never leaves your device. The legal basis for necessary storage is § 25 (2) TDDDG.

5. Audience measurement with Google Analytics – only with your consent

This website uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-F5QJQTHTK0), a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, to see how often each page is opened so we can improve the content.

None of it loads before you agree. On your first visit a notice appears with the categories „Necessary“ and „Statistics“. „Reject all“ sits next to „Accept all“ as an equal option. If you decline, or make no choice, no Google script is loaded, no analytics cookies are set and your IP address is not transmitted to Google.

If you agree, the site loads the Google tag and sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*, lifetime up to 24 months). It records page views, approximate location at country and city level, device, browser and where the visit came from. Your IP address is truncated before evaluation (IP anonymisation) and is not combined with other Google data. Transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out; Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the standard contractual clauses apply in addition. User-level data is deleted after 14 months.

The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG. You can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future using the „Cookie settings“ button in the footer. Further details are in the Google privacy policy.

6. Fonts and embedded scripts

All fonts are served locally from this server. No Google Fonts and no scripts or content from third-party content delivery networks are loaded, so your IP address is not transmitted to any third party.

7. External links

This website contains links to external sites. The respective provider is responsible for data processing on those sites, where their own privacy notices apply.

8. Storage period

We delete enquiries from the contact form once they are settled and no statutory retention periods apply, at the latest after six months.

9. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future by contacting the address above.

10. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data. The competent authority is the Data Protection Commissioner of North Rhine-Westphalia (Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit NRW), Kavalleriestraße 2-4, 40213 Düsseldorf.
